Australia 108 Stair Challenge

Do you have what it takes to ascend Australia's tallest building?

The main website for this event will open at 10pm (AEST) on February 16. 

Australia 108 is Australia's tallest building and on May 7, 2023, you have the chance to take it on. All fundraising from this event will support Giant Steps, Melbourne.

You have the opportunity to run, walk or crawl from ground level to level 96. Category climbs will begin from 7am and will include elite ascenders, individual ascenders, duo ascenders (team of 2), team ascenders (team of 4), emergency services, fancy dress, individual walkers, duo walkers (team of 2) and team walkers (team of 4). For events of this nature, a handful of 'stair addicts' are always keen to ascend more than once. In this respect we happy to announce that their will be 20 places available for multi-climbers (must have completed multi-climbs in others stair challenge events to qualify). 

With a total of 1700 stairs dividing the start line on Fawkner Street and the finish line on level 96, Australia 108 is no ordinary challenge. If you are keen to take it on, we suggest getting a group of friends together and ripping into the training right now! Early bird entries will open on February 16 and represent a great opportunity to save some $$ while also securing a category time that suits you best.
